I started learning Japanese a month ago, but I have had a passion for Japanese cultures and language for about ten years. Since a little kid, I have been enjoying watching Japanese animes and TV shows, which introduce to me fascinating facts about Japanese culture. In addition, I visited Japan last year. That experience deepens my love for it, and I made up my mind to take Japanese courses.
By taking Japanese courses, I hope to learn more aspects of Japan and Japanese cultures, languages included. After a month's study, I find myself even more interested in this language. However, sometimes I find Japanese challenging for me. The grammars are rather complicated, and scripts and vocabulary are hard to memorize. Despite these, I will stick out and see where this learning experience takes me.

    1. こんばんは。Thanks for commenting on my blog. My favorite Japanese anime is "Case Closed" ("Detective Conan") and "Carole and Tuesday". I have been watching "Case Closed" since 10 years old. Although I am not watching it any more now, it remains my favorite. めいさんのすきなにほんのアニメはなんですか?

  2. Hi! You're doing great in class. I've been learning Japanese for 2 years and the vocabulary is still rather difficult for me, especially without kanji to cue me into the meaning. It's all up from here though! I'm so jealous of your trip to Japan -- what was your favorite part of the country? Where did you go?

    1. Hi Sarah! I went to 東京(とうきょう)、京都(きょうと)、大阪(おおさか)、箱根(はこね) and maybe some other places I don't actually remember. I really love 東京(とうきょう) and 京都(きょうと). It was one of the most amazing experiences in my life. You really need to visit Japan sometime in your lifetime :))
